Hello. My name is Angela and I’m been a vegan for the past 15 years. This is not a guilty confession, but rather something that I am very proud of. Of all the labels out there, “veganism” is the one that I identify with the most. It means something to me because it gives my life a greater purpose while shaping many of the little decisions that I make on a day-to-day basis. In a world where it’s often tough to feel as though you can make a difference, being vegan alone can make a big impact for the animals, the environment, the world population, and the economy.

My goal with the blog is to share with my friends (and the world at large) what I’m currently cooking, eating, and doing. Over the last year or so, I’ve kept a Facebook photo gallery of all the vegan meals I’ve prepared. This is the next step in my journey. I want to capture and share what it means to be vegan. I’ll post photos & recipes of food that I’m making at home and eating in restaurants, and I’ll post some little tips and tidbits that I’ve picked up along the years. I’m hoping to encourage new vegans, inspire those who’ve been doing it for a while (like me), and show all the omnivores out there that veganism doesn’t mean eating salads all the time! After all, there’s so much more variety in the plant kingdom than anything you could ever find amongst fish, chicken, pigs and cows!
